Chances are that if you are reading this, you have somehow made it to my website. Congratulations-- You made an excellent discovery. However, now that you are on this fine gaming website, you are more-than-likely wondering what exactly it is.

iWanna Play is a flash gaming website related to the development of games.  We have tons of Flash Games, and quite the number of Game Development articles. Our articles are about Game Maker, Game Design Theory, the state of casual gaming, and many other interesting topics.

We also throw Game Design contests periodically, giving out awards of Cash and Fame. Well, fame is a bit of an overstatement, but at least we have cash.

We really do hope that you get as much entertainment from this website as we do. Feel free to go to the Flash Arcade to have fun, or get intrigued by our articles.

Yes, it is true. iWanna Play is looking for staff members. The staff must be dedicated, have 30-60 minutes a day of spare time. Currently, we are only in need of writers, and advertisers. These positions will not be paid, however, unless you have something in mind that doesn't take money. Justin   |2008-07-29 15:50:14 Not gone til late, so I am working on a few last-minute changes, and weeding out as many bugs as possible. Still no word on the Arcade one, though. I also had to change the ad size. They where too big for the top of the page. Also, the better ad placement has boosted clicks. That means more, larger contests in the future. In other (Not good enough to update the homepage for) news, I have teamed up with a friend, who is working on his own website. Indiegaming. It will be a huge contests site, and his contests will be my contests, as well. Not big enough to rival Yoyo's, but big enough. Indiegaming is still being conceptualized, however, so we will have to wait and see how it turns out. I also realized I forgot to announce that I am sponsoring Host-a, with some space and bandwidth. Not much, but some. Information on that here.

You are correct in saying that it would take more to maintain, and it is pointless at this point in time. Until there is more staff, and more members, the answer is no. My biggest issue in opening up a forum is that it won't be popular right away. If that happens, then no one will post, because there will be nothing to respond too. Of course, that would start a chain, and the forum wouldn't pick up. So, here is three things that I require before I consider a forum: Tons more Members At least two more reliable staff members, who have good experience, and can prove it. A team of people who will make a bunch of threads upon the forums release. By a bunch, I mean at least 50.
